Why Should I hire a Designer?

There are many reasons to hire a designer, all dependent on your specific needs, and how much talent/time you contribute to your project. In my world, there are three different types of design that coexist within the same category. Graphic, Interior and Website Design.

Graphic Designers usually have the latest computer layout programs, with the latest technology, regarding fonts and layouts. It might be easier to hire someone with experience and an eye for design to get your project done more effiicently. Another great reason to hire an outside mind is to get a fresh perspective on your product or service, one you may not have thought about before.

Interior Designers are a cinch. You find one you like, mesh with them personality and style wise, feel comfortable with their style of selling and approach, and then absorb everything they have to say like a sponge. They charge more by the hour than the normal graphic or website designer, you are paying for their student loan, and for the continuing education that most Interior Designers demonstrate.

Website Design is something that if you have the time and inclination, is not so hard to do for a simple site. There are many free programs that will court you for your business in order to advertise on your 'space". If you do, however hire a website designer, you do have the ease of knowing that someone will maintain and check your website for accuracy and keep it current. Find a great website designer through your social networks, or even just browse the internet and look for the Webmaster, and contact them!
